Why Somers?
A place to belong, grow, and thrive.
At Somers Camp, we believe that camp is more than just a holiday program and something to keep kids busy — it’s a powerful experience that helps children discover who they are, build confidence, and create meaningful connections; all while having the time of their life!

For over 65 years, Somers Camp has been welcoming children in Grade 3 - Year 11 to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula for a fun-filled week during the winter school holidays. We’re a not-for-profit camp that values inclusion, respect, and community. Whether it’s their first time away from home or their fifth year returning, every camper is supported by a dedicated team of volunteer leaders who are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable experience.

Whether your child is adventurous, creative, quiet, or energetic — Somers Camp is a place where they’ll be seen, supported, and celebrated.
